G-Land News September 25th 2010

G-Land Surf Report Today, G-Land maintain still had some size now, but not bad Appetite For Destruction look about him. Increases the reef meets a beautiful morning, but winds were still somewhat variable, but I knew it was going into a nice wave that trade several times kicked. Camp reducing the number to about 30 today, the lowest of every September.

So good for uncrowdness. My friends from Gisborne, New Zealand, arrived in the morning. Father and son, Tom & Adam Grimson. Adam is 15 and is one of the best young GROMS from NZ, so the lil goofy footer fizzing on life can best be left-handers! Up to 10 clock trading, the sun was out, and some big waves coming through the 4-5ft range. 6ft Even the occasional bomb (double overhead). A few stray Speedies accessible to the end, but most of the money tree.

I’m good 2 waves exceptionally tree, easily available to run several sections set-ups. Stoked on it. The evening was full of glass and the barrels were not quite as good, but when I saw one hour before dark tubes were still some good, and I saw our guest John Mayer is always a lot of activity backhand tube to protect themselves from the camp!
