G-Land News August 3rd 2010 By Jarred Hancox
G-Land had a trade blowing all day long today right from the get-go. So people were already out there at 7am when I went down to check. I seen a 4ft set rifle off down the low tide Money Tree reef and I was impressed. The wind did have a bit of the devil in it.
Quite East in origin, it made the faces a bit bumpier than normal and the barrels a lot trickier with that bump coming up from inside the bay. Still… there were some 5ft sets by late afternoon and the crowd was super mellow all day. Looking good for tomorrow with the swell period hovering around 16seconds, I’m predicting some 4-5ft good lines coming through!
