“Fun, Fun, Fun was the word today for the G-Land Surf. It was 2-3ft with solid head-high sets, and Kong, fan palm and the odd place at Money Trees. There was a slight breeze all morning, but that made Kong’s super rippable, ask with crumbly lips only to be strapped in and long lines and many move combos are executed! In the afternoon, it was more offshore. Before dark, I paddled out again and a few patients with fan palm.

G-Land Bobby’s Surf Camp held pool tournament tonight, what a great success. We had a full draw of 32 employees and guests who all paid Rp10.000 to enter any and all of them fight it out one-to-try-to-one, the final and win the Rp250.000 1st Price! Frodo from the kitchen only to win Neil ousted from Australia in the last one on, too. Neil Rp60.000 received for his efforts, and Rob of education and Heru from the kitchen Bintang received 3 coupons each for the = 3 Place. A good fun night had by all.

Jarrex Hancox wrote about G-Land Surf Forecast today, Thursday - August 27th 2009 that :

G-Land was still showing some nice sets today morning. Some solid 3-5ft sets came through all day long in the G-Land Surf.

It was glassy to about 10am, then blew a south-southeast tradewind (the wind of the last joint) all day. This wind is very clean in the face of the wave, but is not the best for the run, although it has yet to barrel. Most of the waves were money trees, a bar for a couple of sentences on the pad above the flood 1.9m (flat as a little speedier) and Kong had a few rides too.

I went to tiger tracks in the afternoon, it was to make 1-2ft but also fun, and there were 2 cute chicks from surfing, which is always a bonus!”
